Spring EV econo driving mode

Hey everyone, I just got my new Spring and I'm loving the EV life so far! I'm a complete newbie here, so I have a question about the "Econo Mode." How does an electric car work differently than ICE cars?? Does it have a significant effect on driving performance? It appears to be a way to save battery power, but is it really worth using in an EV? Thanks!

It's just the same function as the one in ICE cars. On long highway stretches, it can be worth it. No need to use it if you're just city driving.
